About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Would we need a visa and how much does it cost

My wife and I will be leaving for a cruise in November from Beijing to Singapore. Planning to spend 3 nights in Brijing before cruise.

Denise, yes, you need it for the 3-night stay in Beijing. You can apply for a tourist L type or transit G type (if it is a transit in Beijing) and it will cost AUD 109.5 per person.
