About:China Visa

Holds a Philippine passport but with US greencard, am I entitled for the 72 hr transit visa?

I am flying to the Philippines from Texas USA with 15 hr layover in Beijing, can I get the 72 hr free transit? Thank you

Anne, you can't get the 72hr free transit in Beijing, but you can enjoy the 24hr direct transit there because your layover time in China is less than 24 hours.

You're such a great help, Eric.. Unaware that there is a 24hr direct transit. With that 24hr, I can still do the tour right? Would you know the process how to take a short tour?

Yes, you can still do the tour. You need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport immigration upon arrival, by showing your passport and onward ticket.
