About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

my wife n I fly from Brisbane to Beijing to join cruise ship for Australia. Visa required?

Frank, if your layover time in Beijing is not over 24 hours in total, you can make use of the 24 hour direct transit; and in this case, no entry permit is needed.
