What is your purpose to enter PRC? If it’s for sightseeing purpose, you need to apply for a tourist L type. The required documents contain your passport and copy of its data page, the application form, a passport-sized color photo, an invitation letter of a duly authorized unit, hotel reservation, round trip air tickets and your residence permit in HK.
Afterwards, submit the application to the CVASC to apply for it.
