I am an American citizen working in Shenyang. What is the best way to obtain a visa to visit Vietnam as a tourist?

The first step is to submit the relevant documents containing your passport, the application form, your residence permit in PRC, 2 passport-style photos, travel itinerary and other documents the consular officers consider necessary.
And the next step is to submit the application to the embassy of PRC to apply for it.
