Shangai Visit

As accommodation in Suzhou is cheaper than in Shanghai, is it a good idea to stay there and visit Shanghai by high speed train everyday over a 2 or 3 day period?

I do not think it is a good idea to stay in Suzhou and take trains to visit Shanghai everyday. It wastes time. Not all the hotels there is cheaper, some of them is even expensive than the same level in Shanghai. Why don't you find a proper hotel with a good price in Shanghai?
