About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Beijing 72 hour transit

Will be in Beijing to take advantage of the 72 hour visa free transit period. The time actually goes a bit over to 76 hours as we arrive at 04:40 on 7th July and leave on 10th July at 08:40. Is this okay or should I take another flight?

Also does it matter if I arrive on one airline company and depart using another?

Mark, I think it’s okay for you to use the 72 hour free transit under that flight itinerary. If you are still worried, you can contact with Beijing airport immigration inspection and confirm that. Tel: 0086-10-56095400
You can arrive on one airline and then depart using another.
