Transit visa required or not on Pakistani passport

I am Pakistani passport holder and living in Dubai, I am planning to travel to New Zealand through Southern China airline and I will have transit in PRC (Guangzhou airport) for 2 hours when going and 2.5 hours when coming back. My question is do I need transit visa for this travel?

Adnan, you don’t need to apply for transit G type for both of your transits in Guangzhou because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit there for both legs of your trip.

Adnan did you apply for the transit entry permit or not ?as far as I know China southern does not issue a boarding pass if you don't have a transit entry permit
