About:China Work Visa

I'm in shanghai on Z visa and have applied for work permit, is it possible for me to go out of china

To go out and come back with my Z type which is of single entry

If you haven't received the residence permit, I'm afraid you can't go out and enter with the Z type. It's no longer valid when you reenter.
