About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Can I apply for a student visa and a tourist L type?

I am in PRC for 4 months, studying for 3 months and travelling for 1 month at the end of my study.

Bradley, you cannot apply for a student X type and a tourist L type at the same time because one can only hold one type each time.
But, don’t worry! Here is the solution. You can convert your X type to a tourist L type 7 days earlier before your X type expires. And then you can stay in PRC for one month to travel.
