Chinese Visa for UK Citizen living in CA

If I am a UK citizen living in California, can I still apply for a Chinese Visa here at the Consulate? Or do I have a different process to follow?

Joy, you can still apply for it at the consulate in LA. The process is basically similar to it for US citizens. The difference is that you need to submit the original and photocopy of your residence permit in the US.
