But you are eligible for the 144 hour free transit. When boarding the cruise ship in Korea, you should inform the cruise company that you want to use the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. After arriving at Shanghai port, you should apply for the 144 hour free transit at the immigration inspection office and then you will get the stay permit on your passport. Finally, you can check in at a hotel.
