Hong Kong eligible as a third country ?

Hello - could i confirm that Hong Kong is eligible as a third country ? Fly from KL to Shanghai then within 72 hours Shanghai to Hong Kong. Would the 72 hour free transit for Shanghai be applicable ?

Hi Emily, Hong Kong is eligible as a third region, so the route is fine, but actually you can stay up to six days in Shanghai without a visa.
