Bank Certificate from Invitee

I want to invite my sister here in Shanghai and I am currently working here. My sister does not have a bank statement nor a BIR stamped Income tax return because she is a housewife. Can I provide my own bank statement instead since I am the invitee who will pay for the expenses of the travel? Can I provide a bank statement from China Merchants Bank instead and not from a Philippine bank?

Maria, yes, you can provide your bank certificate as the proof of financial support of your sister. I think a bank statement from China Merchants Bank is okay.
