144 hour visa in Hangzhou

Hi, I'm planning a trip to China in November, and was wondering if I fly from Atlanta to Hong Kong, stay for a few days, then fly from Hong Kong to Hangzhou, stay for a few days, then fly back to ATL, would that qualify for the 144 hrs free transit in Hangzhou? What if I reverse the trip...ATL - HGH - HKG - ATL? Thanks!

As long as your transit time in Hangzhou is less than 144 hours, you qualify for the 144 hour free transit in Hangzhou.
If you reverse the trip like ATL - HGH - HKG – ATL, and your layover time in Hangzhou is less than 144 hours, you can also enjoy the free transit in Hangzhou.
