About:China Visa

I am from india, applying for a conference in china. Will it be sufficient to get a L visa?

I have some time constraints which require me to apply for entry permit right now. I cannot wait for a formal invitation letter to apply for the F type entry permit.

Well, I think you can apply for a tourist L type and then use it to enter and attend the conference. Just remember that if asked by immigration officers, reply that you go there for leisure purposes.

To apply for the L type, you need to book hotels and round-trip tickets before submitting the application.
