About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Arrival and Visa commencement time

Hello. If I arrive on Thursday 3 June at 7am, does my 144 hour transit time commence from midnight Thurs/Fri morning? Thank you

Yes, the free-stay period starts from the mignight after your arrival, namely, 00:00 on June 4.

Many thanks! I am flying bali-Singapore-shanghai-Singapore-bali. I am confused at the third country qualification. With my above itinerary will the 144 free transit be ok??? Help! Flying tomorrow

I'm afraid it's not ok. Since you don't have time to apply for the transit permit, I advise you to change the flight from Shanghai to Bali to a direct flight.
