About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Visa direct from Embassy?

Can the application be sent by courier to the Embassy and a return prepaid envelope be used to return the entry permit OR does everyone have to use the service, paying the additional fee?

Beverly, you can send the application by courier to the CVASC and you can send a return prepaid envelope. But you also need to pay the postal service fee which reflects the time and efforts spent on processing postal applications. So usually, the mailed application fee should be the application fee plus the postal service fee.

Which will be 120.00, I believe. The website is very confusing, because it keeps saying 100.00 for the visa, 45.00 for the service fee, 20.00 for the mail fee.
