Can I change my x2 visa for an M type? How can i do so? can I do it in Shanghai?

Ale, it’s possible for you to change X2 type to M type. The first thing is to provide those documents including your passport, the application form with a passport-style photo attached, valid registration form of temporary residence, and an invitation letter from a trade partner in PRC as well as other documents required by the consular officers. And then go to the exit and entry administration of the local public security bureau to submit the application. If you live in Shanghai currently, you can do it there.0
