About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Pek visa for airline employee traveling standby

I am airline staff traveling on standby from HKG to DFW with a connection in PEK. My layover is 6 hrs I'm not planning to leave the airport am I eligible for and do I need a 72/144 hr free transit

If the airline in HKG allows you to board onto the plane and you don't go through immigration when arriving at PEK, it's possible that you can enjoy the 24-hour free transit policy. You can call Beijing Immigration office for confirmation. The number is 0086-10-56095400
