About:A Word of Welcome

YVR- PEK - Singapore (Int)

Hi
I'll be coming into Capital International, Beijing from Vancouver on Air Canada. Flight lands at 2.10pm and next flight on Air China departs to SIN at 3.35pm. The layover time is 1HR 25MINS. Will I have sufficient time to make it to the next flight? Will ground staff help with codeshare connecting flight upon landing?
Thanks much, Gin

Oh, it's international to international transfer in T3. In general, the minimum transfer time is about an hour. So you have enough time to make this connection. Don't worry. If you need to the ground staff's help, you can go to the service counter at the airport. Or just see the clear English signs. These will help you find the right directions easily. :)

Thanks for your reply Bonny! Definitely helps cos I've read some replies on needing to do transfer procedures and picking up luggages. Do I still have to do the above, stamp passport since I'm just transiting into another flight?

Yes, you need to go through transfer procedures, and stamp your passport. But you needn't claim your luggage. Here are the procedures: Flight Arrival- Transfer Procedures- Border Inspection- Security Check- Customs Inspection- Waiting and Boarding. :)

Right, thanks. Needed to know the steps, am more concern about delay by Air Canada. Had read some not too good reviews about them having flight delays. Have you been on a flight on Air Cananda? All went well?

As I know, Air Canada flights depart and arrive on time except bad weather. You can also contact the airline and keep close attention to the lastest news. Take it easy, and good luck to you!
