About:China Train Stations

How can I reach the Xilinguole grasslands from Xilinhot airport?

Is there a bus or how much does a private car or taxi cost?

Well, the whole city is located on the grassland. Please note that the grassland is very vast, covering an area of about 78,400 square miles (203,000 square kilometers). The best parts are in Xiwu Banner and Dongwu Banner. Hence, you can take a taxi to Xilinhot Bus Station for CNY 50-70. Then, take a coach to either of them. :)

You can stay at the yurt there to experience the authentic nomadic lifestyle. It may cost CNY 300-500 per night. But I am afraid that you cannot rent it. Sorry for that.

Online reservation is unavailable. Just walk in and check in upon arrival. The locals are very friendly and hospitable. Don't worry! :)
