hi is it nearer/easier to go to xilingol grasslands from hohhot, xilinhotbeijing?

I'm arriving in Beijing at 1am in the morning. Are there any hotels in Beijing Airport? How much will they cost per room per night?Then I was thinking of either taking the night train to Hohhot or flying straight to Hohhot. From Hohhot to take a night train to Xilinhot and then continue to the Xilingol Grasslands. But if there is a way to go to the Grasslands from Hohhot, please tell me by what method (train/bus/car/taxi), how many hours and how much will it cost?Thanks!!

1. There is hourly lounge inside the airport. T1: Gate 8, 2F; T2: Gate D2-D3, B1 (international) and Gate D6-D7, B1 (domoestic); T3: T3-C, 2F and T3-E, international deparutral hall. The room rate differes a little from each other based on facilities. Here is the rate of a standard room in the one of T3-E for reference: CNY 220 for 5 hours and CNY1180 for a full day. 2. Do not go to Hohhot. It's even further from the grassland than Beijing. Actually, there are direct bus from Beijing to Xilinhot. You can travel by it. Schedule for reference:Yongdingmen Bus Station: 08:00, 18:40, 20:00Liuliqiao Bus Station: 10:00, 14:00, 19:00, 20:00Muxiyuan Bus Station: 18:40Ticket fare is about CNY250 and duration is about 7 hours.
