About:China Visa on Arrival

Entering Shenzhen from Hong Kong, leaving by air to Bangkok (German Passport)

Can I enter Shenzhen with a 5 day VOA visa from Hong Kong, but leave from the airport to Bangkok or do I have to go back to Hong Kong?

Phil, you can leave from the airport to Bangkok, no need to go back to Hong Kong.
