from hongqiao airport to pudong airport?

Hi some enquiries,1) How do I or the best way to get  to Pudong Airport? Any free airport shuttle? or Taxi would be faster?2) Do we need to take the luggage from SHA and check in at Pudong Airport?Thanks, Regards :)

They are around 55km apart and it takes around an hour to go by cab. Besides, you can have alternatives: 1. Subway Line 2 (transfer at Longyang Road). The whole way takes about 55min. The fare is CNY55 per person. 2. Shuttle bus line 1. It takes you to PVG within 60-70min at a cost of CNY30. If you hold through ticket, it is ok to check in the luggage at SHA directly instead of taking it to PVG. For the details, I suggest you consult the airport staff upon arriving.
