About:China Visa

i am a foreigner but my wife is chinese, which visa do i need to apply for to stay in china

and live together with my wife?

You need to apply for a Q1 type. To apply for this, your marriage certificate will be used. Besides, you need to submit your passport, a copy of its data page, a filled-out application attached with your recent bare-headed photo, and an invitation letter from your wife and a copy of her ID card.
