About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Am I eligible for the 144 h visa?

I'm Mexican and I'm living in Japan. On October, I will attend to two conferences one in Shanghai and one in Changsha and maybe, I will need all the 144 h for this. In any case, What kind of documents will I need for this process?

Arturo, if you don't exit from mainland China at the interval between the two conferences, I'm afraid you can't enjoy the 144h free transit because it has not been adopted in Changsha yet. So you may need to obtain an F or M type entry permit in advance.
