About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does the 144-hour visa-free entry apply to me?

With a US passport, I will be flying from US and arriving Shanghai on July 3rd. I will then take the return flight on July 8th, which lays over in Tokyo, and then back to US.

Jeff, yeah, you are able to use the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai. Nice trip!
