About:China Visa Application in USA

Do I need my birth certificate in order to apply for a Chinese visa?

I am a U.S. Citizen and have my SS number and passport. However, I misplaced my birth certificate.

Veronica, your birth certificate is not required unless you apply for a family reuion type entry permit.
