About:Prohibited Items

Can I take the following things to China?

Cat biscuits
Sand, lava rocks and shells
Sweets and chocolate

Cat biscuits and lava rocks are not allowed to enter CN. If the sand and shells are made into craftswork, it is ok to take it; or, it would be confiscated by the customs.

Sweets and chocolates for self use is ok to take in. But if you take a lot of them, tax may be charged.
