About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

15 minutes over :-(

I plan to travel on 8th June from Bangkok to Xi'an & on to Kuala Lumpur & take advantage of the 72 hour visa. My question is... AirAsia from Bangkok arrives at 9.35PM & I understand the 72 hours will commence at midnight, correct? The AirAsia flight to Kuala Lumpur is scheduled for 12.15AM Sunday the 12th... I calculate that as 72 hours 15 minutes! Would I be able to get the 72 hour visa or does that 15 minutes disqualify me?

Greg, if you calculate the free-stay period from the midnight after your entering and the time is still 15 minutes over 72 hours, I'm afraid you are not eligible for the 72h free transit policy.
