About:China Work Visa

American first time z visa

I am applying for my first Z type. I was told as an American I have to apply in America. I cannot apply from Singapore or Hong Kong. Is this correct?

Rachel, if you want to apply for it in Singapore or HK, you need to provide the residence permit there. So you should apply for it in your home country.
