Hi good day! I would like to ask a travel tip going to Macau from HK..We’re planning to have 1 day trip to Macau from HK, can you give me an advise of time frame for the most visited place or tourist spots in Macau so that we will enjoy our one day trip and back to HK before the ferry terminal close..thank you

For the day trip to Macau from HK, I recommend you visit the Ruins of St. Paul(2 hours), a must see place in Macau, then visit Mount Fortress(1 or 2 hours), A-Ma Temple(2 hours) and Venetian Macau Resort. It takes several hours to look around the resort as it is quite big. Have fun!

I’m sorry but I have another question to ask, if what is the different between the route of Hong Kong China Ferry Terminal to/from Macau Taipa Ferry Terminal and to/from Macau Outer Harbor Ferry Terminal. Where terminal is more convenient to arrive and much nearer to the places that you’ve been told. Thanks!

You are recommended to take turbo-jet from HK Macau Ferry Terminal or China Ferry Terminal to Macau Outer Harbor Ferry Terminal. It is convenient to go to the sightseeing spot from this terminal.

Actually, both ferry terminals have convenient access to the city center. Ruins of St. Paul is close to Outer Harbor Ferry Terminal and Venetian Macau Resort is close to Taipa Ferry Terminal. It is more convenient to travel to Ruins of St. Paul from Outer Harbor Ferry Terminal. You may choose the arrival terminal based on your own schedule.
