About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hello, would the following be considered a valid flight route for visa free transit:

Dubai - Shanghai - Hong Kong - Shanghai - Dubai? I would depart Dubai on 19 May and return on 21 May. Many thanks

Alice, so you will actually enter Shanghai twice, and you can enjoy the 144h free transit policy both times.

Great thank you Andrew. What if I travelled Dubai - Shaghai (with a 1 hour stopover in Hong Kong) and returned Shanghai - Dubai (direct)?
