I will landed at Kunming airport around 5pm to Railway station

My train to lijang is 22:15pm, once I land airport , may I know what is the best route ,fastest way to the railway station?
For 5 person, is it better to take taxi or shuttle bus line 2 to railway station?

The taxi fee from KM airport to the train station is around CNY100-CNY120 per cab and you will need to take two cabs for five persons. Therefore, I think shuttle bus line 2 is better. The fare is CNY25 per person.

Is it waiting time is long?Always have long queue crowded? and How long from airport once I touched down from the plane, to Kunmig Railway station?

I kinda worry the traffic condition if taking shuttle bus. Can I reach on time by 10pm?
As I am first time traveller, so I need some time to explore as well. Need some buffer timing

The shuttle bus is available every 30 minutes and the ride takes around one hour from the airport to the train station. If there is no other condition or traffic jam, the time is enough for you to transfer by shuttle bus. Since your arrival time is just during the rush hour, I am afraid that the traffic condition will not be very good. If you worry the long queue and traffic, then I think taxi is probably a safer choice. Just my opinion.

How bad is the traffic condition I wonder.. During normal circumstance, around 6-7pm, once I get into the shuttle bus, I am able to reach to railyway station by 8:30-9pm. Hope no any flight delay. And I knew that the Kunming International Airport is very big right?

Taxi for 5 person is it easier to get? Roughly how much it cost? Is it safe to take taxi from Airport to railway station?
May I know the location for both shuttle bus and taxi area, is it there are just near to each other all there are located in both difference place?

Well, I can not predict the traffic condition on that day, but the traffic is always heavy during rush hour(6pm-8pm) according to my experience. The shuttle bus is located outside of gate no. 1 at B1 layer. The taxi can be also found when you get out of the airport. You may ask the staff at the airport for help if you can not find the location. It is safe to take taxi as long as you take the licensed one. You will have to take two taxies for 5 persons and the fare is around CNY100 per cab from the airport to the railway station.
