About:China Transit Visa

G type visa from Canada for multiple entries.

I am joining a tour startung in HK to Shanghai for 7 days and then flying back to Ottawa. I am in HK now.
My visa indicates a G type with 60 days duration and a 6 month expiry date (October 25, 2016) after issue date April 25, 2016. Under "entries" heading, it said "M". I interpret that it is a multiple entries type.
Can I go to Shenzhen for 1 day visit with this without affecting my Shanghai tour entry?
Thanks
Kam

Kam, you mean you want to visit from HK to Shenzhen for 1 day and then return to HK, then you will enter Shanghai for a tour later? You can do this with the Multiple-entry permit you hold. I'm just wondering how you get this G type, because as far as I know, the stay duration of G type is usually only seven days.
