Question: our accommodation the night before will be in jiuzhaigou park. How long will it take us to get to the airport from the park? ALso, I have read blog posts that said it was a nightmare to travel in the area if the weather was wet. So do you think it is a better idea to stay closer to the airport the night before the flight? You can take airport shuttle bus to JZH (about 1.5 hours). The buses depart when full, and the fare is CNY 45. Or, you can charter a car for about CNY 200.According to previous weather statistics, it is likely that it will rain then. So, you are advised to stay near JZH. The Jia Guo Cang Hotel at No. 149, Shanba Tibetan Village is a nice choice. It is about 7 miles (11km) from the airport. It costs CNY 150 to 200 per night.
