About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

When do you find out if there is an issue with your Visa?

I realized after I got home that I forgot to include a couple documents. They were the planes itinerary, and previous copies of my old passport and previous visa. Those are listed as required forms on the website.

The lady at the counted looked my app over pretty well and didn't say anything about the missing documents. Does that mean they don't need them?

Would they try to contact me for the forms before pickup day, or would I find out on Pickup day that we were not approved.

-Peter

Peter, you can contact with the consulate general direct and ask if the missing documents are needed. It’s the quickest way to make the things clear.
