About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I am travelling to Changsha from Thailand

I am a uk passport holder and I will be travelling from Bangkok to Changsha and then 48 hours later travelling from Changsha to Bangkok.

Can I use the 72 hours visa free transit?

Thanks

Geoff, I’m afraid you cannot use the 72 hour free transit because after 48-hour stopover in Changsha, you fly back to Bangkok, but in principle, you should fly to a third country or region. You need to apply for a tourist L type for your journey.
