Lara, you need to change your residence permit. The required documents include your passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, Valid Registration Form of Temporary Residence, admission notice of enrollment issued by the new school, and JW form as well as other relevant documents the consular officers consider necessary. And then go to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB where your new school is located to change the residence permit.

What's a JW form ?
for the valid registration form of temporary residence admission notice of enrollment is it something like an admission letter from the school?

JW form refers to JW 201 form or JW 202 form. The school will issue it to you according to your situation.
Valid registration form of temporary residence is issued by police station for your temporary residence in PRC when you go to the area the new school is located.
You will get the admission notice of enrollment from your school and it’s like an admission letter.

JW form is usually send by a registered school. IF you don't have one, it's still possible to apply for an X2 type.
