Tourist L type or transit G type?

I will land in Beijing, take the train to another country 2 days later and then come back by train and spend about 4 more days in Beijing before flying to Hong Kong. I will apply for a double-entry visa. Should I choose a tourist L type or transit G type? Does it matter?

Hugo, both tourist L type and transit G type are okay. You can apply for either of them.
