VISA procedure for Indian resident for China

what is procedure to apply and get entry permit for study in PRC for 3 to 4 years for Indian residents. also the duration to get it

Amit, I think you need to get an X1 type to study in PRC. First, prepare the materials that you may be asked for, including your passport which is valid for at least six months and has more than two blank pages, a copy of the passport's photo page, a filled-out application form, a recent photo, and the original and photocopy of your admission letter and JW 201 or 202 form. Then go to the CVASC to submit the above-mentioned documents. It usually takes four working days to process after you have submited all documents required.
