About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Eligible for the 144 hour free in Shanghai

I am a Canadian Citizen who will be in Hong Kong for a few weeks. In the middle of the trip I plan to fly from Hong Kong to Shanghai and then fly back to Hong Kong on the 6th day do I qualify for the 144 hours?

Donald, as you fly from HK to Shanghai and then fly back, you cannot enjoy this policy. I advise you to fly from HK to Shanghai and then fly to Macau on the 6th day, then take a ferry to HK. In this way, you may be eligible for the 144h free transit scheme.
