About:Shuaiyuan Redware Teapots Museum

I have withdrawn from my university in Jiangsu, but my resident permit is still valid until 2017.

Can I still stay in China for a while? can the authority cancel my visa without a formal procedure?

Hi there! If the school informs the local PSB to cancel your residence permit, it will be cancelled and in this case, you cannot stay in PRC with it. But if it doesn’t get cancelled, you can stay with it.
From where I stand, just to play safe, you’d better apply for a tourist L type to stay in PRC.

Normally, people from my country don't need a visa for less than a month in China. In case they have cancelled my resident permit, am I allowed to automatically stay in there for one month? I mean, as soon as they cancel my X type, can I stay in PRC on month without doing anything?

You should go to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB to explain your situation and apply for the 30-day stay permit. Otherwise, your stay may be illegal.
