UK-Beijing-Hong Kong

Hi, I have a flight booked from the UK to Beijing arriving at 14:55 on March 2nd. Am I right in thinking that the 72 hour transit visa should begin at 00:00 on March 3rd and that a flight out of Beijing into Hong Kong at 19:30 on March 5th would be ok?
