entry hongkong student x2 visa

Question

Hi,Im indonesian and currently a student in Shanghai and im holding x2 (150days) type,im planning to go by plane to HK about 4 days can i just enter HK directly?any procedures?as X2 in an single-entry type, so can i go back to Shanghai as i just return from HK?thank you

You can go to HK directly because Indonesian passport holders are allowed to enter HK freely for a stay of not exceeding 30 days. You just need to take enough travel fees, your passport, hotel reservation and the return ticket. As X2 type just has single entry, when you return to Shanghai from HK, you need to apply for a new X2 type.
