About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Seoul to shanghai via Hong Kong

I will travel to Shanghai from Seoul via Hong Kong, so will arrive in Shanghai directly from Hong Kong. I will then depart on a direct flight to Seoul within 72 hours (I am a UK national). Is that okay for 72 hour transit visa?
