About:China Tourist Visa

Tourist (L) Visa Application from Pakistan

We are group of 6 persons , we have got our plan booked through travel agent from china , we want to visit the city of Kashgar and Urumqi .

what documents we need to attach to the application except of the documents mentioned on the requirement.

Itrash, you need to apply for a group tourist L type through a travel agency. The required documents are as follows:
1. An invitation letter from an authorized travel agency
2. The application form ( the name list of the tourist group)
3. The passport and copy of its data page
4. An introduction letter from the travel agency
5. And other documents required by the consular officers

Thanks for the reply.
Do you have any information about travelling through Khunjerab Pass .
We want to travel to Tashkurgan / Kashgar via road.

For application please tell me about the following.
Should we mention this in the application that we will be going via road and mention the complete schedule ???
OR
should we attach the hotel booking / air ticket etc ???

Itrash, usually, the invitation letter will be valid for 3 months after issuance. If it doesn’t expire, you can still use it to apply for the visa. If it expires, it cannot be used.

The travel agent is sending me the scanned copy of the LOI , will this work for visa ?

I got strange reply from the tourist operator in Xinjiang,i was corresponding with him for last 1 week and sent him passports and about to send him the agreed amount .

He said today that he is not able to help because Xinjiang tourism department cannot issue the letter of invitation for Pakistanis . Only ministry of foreign affairs can issue letter to Pakistanis.
Ministry of foreign affairs only give invitation letter for business purposes not for tourism .

Any idea about the above statement of tourist operator ??

I got the documents like , Official invitation letter , hotel bookings , travel company's own invitation letter , payment receipt of amount paid to travel company . BUT

we were not able to get the police clearance certificates in time for one of my tour member :( and we got late in getting that clearance certificate.
NOW , as mentioned on the official LOI that our date of entry is 14 JULY , Can we still apply now for visa ???
Can embassy think of that date on the letter as tentative date ???

Thanks for reply , actually there is one entry date which is mentioned on the document , i cannot see the expiry date any where .
