About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Help urgent . can I use the 144 hour free transit?

Hello
I am leaving on 3rd may from Basel(Switzerland) to Amsterdam to Shanghai
9th May Return: from Shanghai to Amsterdam to Basel
So total of 5nights. I have my hotel booked as well;

Is that then ok? For the 144h free transit?
Dear, I already booked ticket and hotel for Shanghai for the 3rd May and back on the 09th May for holidays.
I am French but I live in Basel, Switzerland..
Since Whole yesterday I tried to contact embassy but no way!
So I don't know what to do to get my entry permit-
I tried to call, no way to get someone on the phone; I tried email, the auto email reply is saying to go check the website but the website is not working.

So I am in a big hurry and completely lost.
Julie.

Julie, if you fly like this: Basel – Amsterdam – Shanghai –Amsterdam – Basel, you cannot enjoy the 144 hour free transit because as for the 144 hour policy, after transiting in Shanghai, you should fly to a third country or region, while you just fly back to Amsterdam. You need to apply for a tourist L type in advance.
