About:China Tourist Visa

Do I have to purchase the round trip tickets for China before I apply for the visa?

I don't want to be stuck with a ticket I can't use if my application is denied.

Tamara, if you apply for the tourist L type and you cannot get an invitation letter, round trip air tickets are necessary.
